Cináed Ó DuInn

Cináed Ó Duinn is the pen name under which Ken Dunn writes poetry and short fiction. The name draws on Gaelic roots—Dunn deriving from the Irish Ó Duinn, meaning “descendant of the brown-haired one” or “of the dark earth.” Through this literary voice, Dunn explores themes of landscape, memory, ancestry, and the quiet currents of human experience. The work appears alongside his radio, music, and essays as another strand of what he describes as a creative broadcast studio from planet Earth.

THE SOFT CRADLE OF WONDER

The Soft Cradle of Wonder gathers poems that move between the intimate and the universal, between quiet reflection and the restless tides of a troubled world. Cináed Ó Duinn writes with clarity and compassion, distilling the fleeting fragrance of beauty from life’s sorrows and joys.

These poems speak of love, loss, nature, memory, and the fragile yet luminous threads that hold us together. They invite the reader into moments of stillness and mystery — a reminder that wonder, however soft, is always present if we are willing to listen. Available as a Kindle e-book or paperback.
